With experience in audience engagement, social media, graphic design, illustration and reportage, my mission is to build an innovative, inclusive and community-oriented future for journalism. 

I am currently the Social Media Manager at Documented NY.

I am the incoming 2025-26 Audience Fellow at The New York Times.

I’ve interned with the audience team at Chalkbeat, the editorial team at Highsnobiety, the art and photo team at NBC News Digital and the editoral team at Cincinnati Magazine. I consulted THE CITY on an offline audience engagement strategy in 2023.

I hold a masters degree from New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, where I studied audience engagement, solutions journalism and news product. 

I hold bachelor’s degrees in journalism and interactive media studies from Miami University. I was the design editor and style editor of The Miami Student.

I’ve received awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication. My audience engagement work has been featured in NiemanLab

I’ve been invited to speak about audience engagement at events for the City & Regional Magazine Association, Investigative Reporters & Editors and the Alberta Magazine Publishers Assocation.

I was born and raised in Oxford, Ohio. I live in New York City.
