“The cost of anti-Asian racism” covers the history of anti-Asian racism in the U.S. through the lens of food.

Along with writing and reporting the piece, I produced data visualizations, graphics, photos and audio.

In 2021, the piece won first place in the American Educators in Journalism, Media and Communication’s International Communication Division’s Student International Multimedia News Story Contest.
